Answers to frequently asked questions about our wedding photography services are below. Please use the contact form or call for anything that’s not on the list. We ALWAYS respond to any queries within 24 hours.

What do you photograph?

Our primary focus is on weddings and portraits. But we also cover commercial/corporate photography and other events. Please contact us for more information.

Our event is on a bank holiday?

We are available 365 days a year for any events.

Will you travel to areas outside of Cambridgeshire?

Most definitely, we cover the whole of the UK and internationally. There are no travel costs for events within 90 miles of Cambridge. Travel expenses may be necessary for events further afield. We would work with you to keep these at a minimum.

What do you charge?

Do you provide albums and prints?

We have a range of albums and prints that you can choose from. Please contact us for more information.

Do we meet before the event?

Yes, this is something we insist on whatever the event. We need to have at least 1 consultation before hand regardless of whether it’s a 1 hour session or a 2 day shoot. It’s beneficial for both parties.

How do we make a booking?

To secure your date you will need to sign a contract and pay a deposit. Once your booking fee is received and the contract is signed the date is yours and you can get on with planning the rest of your day.

Do you do engagement shoots?

Absolutely, these are included with all our core wedding packages. They are an opportunity for you to have some creative portraits taken to use for invitations, signing frames, guest books, wall prints etc. It is worth mentioning that engagement sessions work a little differently as you will get some loose direction to help pose you in the most flattering way. This is similar to the way the creative portraits on the wedding day will work but very different to the way the rest of the day will be shot! How do you work on the day?

Our aim is to be as unobtrusive as possible. Focusing on images that tell the story of your day without interfering in the days proceedings. Using a relaxed and discreet manner. Apart from a few group shots and the creative portraits there will be very little pose & smile shots.

How long do you shoot for on the day?

That all depends on what you want. Our wedding packages have no time restrictions. Bespoke services are charged by the hour.

How many photographers will there be?

Normally only one, we can arrange for a second if required. We normally don’t recommend an additional photographer for events with fewer than 150 people.

Can we have formal photographs?

Absolutely, we are happy to take any requests for formal shots and work with you to get the best possible results. Just let us know what you want.

How long till we can see our pictures?

For weddings typically this will be within 60 days of the event. For shorter sessions it could be within a few days. We will give you an indication at our first meeting.

How do we get our pictures?

Pictures can be provided in various formats initially this is by a private on-line gallery, then normally on a USB, prints and albums can be provided.

Can you produce canvas prints and wall hangings?

Yes, we offer a range of styles and sizes.

How many photographs will we get?

As a guide for an 8 hour wedding it would be over 400 photos. It does depend on the type and length of the event and what you are hoping to achieve.

Can we provide a testimonial?

Yes, yes, yes! Testimonials are great for future couples. Feedback forms are sent after each wedding or event, so this would be the perfect opportunity.
